 I cant really describe the genre, but if you have COX as  your internet provider you might have seen thier commercial  for their internet and its real soft and IDM like. The same  style music is played on VH1 during commercials sometimes. I  guess its like a more up to date version of Milkman with  real vocals (un-edited) being sung.
