Anger always comes from the same place within the person, and any negative emotion - when misdirected and dealt with in an inapropriate manner - almost always leads to disaster. religions are more than just moral tenants though: the belief that you need to obey the moral tenants to please a deity, something larger than life and all powerful. THAT is where religions run into trouble, because once you have people fearing a deity, you can get them to do anything you want. and once people believe they have a deity on their side because of their moral behavior, it just gets weird, they turn into assholes. yep brokephones, that's what i'm talking about. |
