autechre dreams

this is a dream my friend had. I find this odd because my
friend doesnt listen to autechre.

-----------------------------------------

He was wandering around with some other friends through a
field. The deal was the field had city parts to it. Big
buildings and such. After a while of going through the field
they made it into a city.

At this exact time everyone started exiting the buildings
and running away as fast as humanly possible. He didnt get
it. So he went further into the city going against the grain
of the people.

At this time he noticed a heard of lions stampeding through
the city and behind them was this huge monsterish beast.
This beast was crashing through bridges and beating the shit
out of buildings. He started to be like what the fuck.

Then right out of no where everything recreated itself and a
voice booming from the sky stated "this presentation was
brought to you by autechre!"

Upon that he said i got on the phone and was calling
aphexisatwin to tell him what happened.

the end

funny.
when i went to bed yesterday i listened to ep7. and when i
was half asleep i already heard dream-noises. then i fully
woke up again and suddenly track5 of ep7 cracked in. it was
a contrast to the sounds in my head. boom.

this is the one i had. I also blame this on my friend
because there was a small similairity. This one is shorter
because it had mainly to do with visuals.

---------------------------------------------------

It started with me taking a large portion of shrooms (never
done em). After a bit of wandering around in some upperclass
neighborhood, the drug began to produce effects.

If you played the game 'blackthorne' than this will help for
a visual. As i was standing around talking to someone about
being fucked up i noticed what appeared to be a levator.
This was a triangular beam of light and color that was about
5 feet around and perhaps 10-12 feet high. I noticed that
sound was emmiting from it.

I went closer to inspect and that is when it started
draining my life force from me. I became weaker and weaker
over time and the beam intensified and became bigger and
brighter. It was producing confield type things i have never
heard before. I noticed that the beam in the center was
actually a large spectral view of a wave of something.
Except it was a bit more detailed.

As i noticed this the beam flattened itself followed by
"this presentation was brought to you by autechre!"

I then woke up feeling unoriginal because of the way that it
ended. A slight rip off of my friends.

I think autechre has the technology to create dreams.

all the time. sometimes when im dreaming the song will
incorporate its melodies and beats into certain visions or
actions. when i wake up i realize what song i was listening
to and think, wow
i love this kind of music.

He has never heard their music, ever. He heard the name from
me through a discussion about music we had at a bar. Thats
why he told me about it. He thought it was odd.

i had a waking dream (yknow, the kind when youre in bed, and
you cant move but theres all sorts of crazy shit going on
around you and you can do nothing about it) while listening
to druqks. not as much happened (as i was stuck in my room)
but the gist of it was that every single person i had ever
met (and i mean EVERY person. there were plenty of people
there i didnt even come close to recognizing) was just
standing in my room, and there were these weird colorful
prisms jumping out of their heads and it was all going along
to the beats in druqks. it was quite weird.

I was falling asleep to Draft as I often do, and in my
hypnogogic state, the distorted sounds (I can't think of how
to more accurately describe the sounds) in 6ie.cr were some
old black guy talking.

It's the way I listen to it 95% of the time. So good since
it is so visual.

holy good thanks god it's not physical. I'd be getting
thrashed by trillions of cerated blades, flying spacecraft
and crashing boulders.
