thx, an anti-compulsive... how the hell does that work when
a schedule is something akin to compulsive? weird shit.
where does it end and begin?

i've heard that this drug is a part of getting away from
smoking... but being a part of serotonin?

IN THE YEAR 2005 gotta love the new drugs... just wish i had
some demerol here somewhere......

it can't be a good idea to do them if they're not prescribed

Hmm. You wont get high from anti-psychotics, I'm pretty sure
of that.

taking antipsychotic drugs for fun must be one of the
dumbest things I've heard.

yeah, let's DULL those emotions, let's make oneself
IMPOTENT, YEAH!

never a dull moment- oh wait

offline epohs from )C: on 2005-01-06 15:11 [#01448145]

i dunno... some of the most popular (and awesome) drugs out
there are depressants.

offline happy cycling from berlin on 2005-01-06 15:15 [#01448146]
Points: 2786 Status: Regular

they are not depressants because they make you 'depressed'
in a sad way, silly: they depress central nervous system
activity.

anyone who thinks of taking antipsychotics for fun probably
needs them, tho, so have fun and report back.

I would throw them away, just incase you die

presumably, once you're all anti-psychotic, the first
thought that will occur to you will be: what the fuck was i
thinking taking anti-psychotics?

p.s. i've never taken anti-psychotics that i know of.

heehee..

yeah, i know that. i was just offering the counter argument
to qrter's point that dulling the senses was anti-fun.

anti-psycotics help reduce hallucinations and mood swings in
people with schizophrenia, dementia, etc etc...

..by taking on most forms of emotion.

that's the shit part about stronger anti-psychotic drugs -
not only are the emotions taken care of that you'd like to
see dulled, the rest gets bitchslapped too.

I had a brother who was on heavy anti-psychotic drugs and on
bad days he would more or less be a kind of zombie.

thanks for the info... lol. pharmacuticals(sp?) are so
interesting aren't they?

i just find it remarkable that a powder can have so much
power of the human psyche. wether to deter or inhibit
behaviour.

er *over the human psyche...

well, seeing as the human psyche is more or less a byproduct
of chemical reactions anyway, it isn't that weird.

or at least, I think it is. if you believe in the idea of a
soul, you'll probably disagree.

or at least, I think it is.. a byproduct of chemical
reactions. in the brain. the human psyche.

it comes down to chemicals and electrical signals, so it
shouldnt be that hard to effect any part of the mind in
theory: and the possiblities for results are endless thanks
to the imagination.

offline DeLtoiD from Ontario on 2005-01-06 22:27 [#01448618]

some here, some there.

i see it that way... but i always think that people are
somehow in control of how those chemical reactions happen, i
guess they are for the better yes?

like a chemical striaight jacket is the only analogy i can
think of, and that seems to be the fascination i have with
them.

I have taken ssri drugs before. They work. They also make
you apathetic, and cause severe changes to your personality.
You will do things on ssri's that you have never done
before.

They are not "hits", you have to keep a steady stream in the
system for two weeks before you get a noticeable effect.

They are bad. Do not take or support them.

wait, what? you get prescribed drugs from your doctor, and
you want to know if you'll get high off them?

i'm hoping i'm misunderstanding - if not, damn.
