that you in your avatar? it reminds me of a kid version of my friend's brother. what part of florida are you from? I live in Orlando when I'm going to school and Tampa when I'm visiting my folks. ok question number 3: you play keyboard, right? or do you mostly just make use of sequencing/software to make music? I listen to a lot of electronica, but I'm not really a programmer... I play keyboard every day and write mostly jazz/rock stuff. Just figured I'd see if we had some of the same interests since we both live in Florida and that clearly makes us both awesome. Actually, I'm not really a fan of Florida's weather but the chicks are nice (read: attractive). |

obviously, as I said before pretty girls are somehow drawn to florida like a magnet. makes living here bearable. We've only got 2 seasons here, Hot as fuck, and not so hot, and I miss snow, and especially watching all the trees change color in the fall. |

aw man, my own thread and all. before i opened it, i thought it was going to be everyone telling me to go away. =[ hit me up at teh_jerk@yahoo.com and we can get into detail. but to immediately answer your questions: -i don't know where i found the picture! it's not me, but that's kind of what i look like. ;] -i live near Ft. Lauderdale (hollywood in particular) -i have played keyboard since 3rd grade, stopped for a few years, picked it back up a couple years ago. i also played bass guitar for a while in a couple unknown punk bands. - i use FLStuido 4.1something at the moment, but i often use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 to record and 'track', as you idm kids call it. i USED to play and record, layering synths over beats, etc, but my current sound card is limiting and debilitating. so yeah, hit me up sometime, it would be cool to talk to another music lover. also, if you want to hear some of the stuff i've done, go and . |

cool, good to meet you man. Thanks for answering the questionnaire =p I'm about to check out some of the stuff you've recorded. I guess I owe it to you to tell you a little about myself since you were kind enough to do so for me: I have been playing keyboard for 2 years now, though I play keyboard every day so my skill has improved faster than it did with guitar, which I have been playing for 5 years now. I too played in a couple unknown punk bands in the Tampa Bay area, though I played guitar (and some keyboard in the newest one) rather than bass. :D I'm working on putting together a new band now with my roomates and some friends, so I hope to record a 4-or-so song demo in the near future. Oh, I too use Cool Edit Pro 2.0. ;) |
