I want to build something with multiple seq objects so I
can record arbitrary lengths of midi data and loop them over
and over. I've got the looping figured out - I just route
the bang at the end of the sequence back into the input and
it repeats forever.

How can I make it automatically stop recording when
there's no more midi data (held notes)?
It would also be
cool to have it start recording when it receives midi data.
I'm goung to put multiple seqs on different midi channels so
they don't interfere. Anyhow.

If anyone knows of patchers that do this I'd be very
grateful! I suspect I'm attempting something a beginner
shouldn't attempt...

Ha ha! A bold comment if I do say so myself.

Nearly lost my pudding to beat the band, to be sure.

Heh. The only reason it made sense to me is the seq object
is EXACTLY what I've wanted in Reaktor for ages. The
automatable pitch sliders and faders in Metaphysical
Function come close but goddamn they eat lots of system
resources.
