WTF?

most of my programs/windows are huge... like in music match
jukebox... you do something of some sort and it pops up a
window prompt... only the thing takes up the whole screen (I
used this on another computer before and it was normal
sized) You have to click yes or no at the bottom or
something... but the window is so huge you can't even see
the "yes" or "no"... so you move the start menu or whatever
the hell it's called to the right of the screen and baaarely
have enough room to move the window up and see the top of
the yes and no buttons. I've checked in display properties
etc; maybe my computer just sucks.

Download and run these:

spybot search & destroy
hijackthis - delete suspicious (confirm with google)
entries

Stop using rubbish like musicmatch, and if you're still
using IE, upgrade to firefox. You might be better off
formatting and starting again, though.

ha ha, egg custard.

Do you really think it's due to spy-type-ware though? I
think it's some screwed windows setting or something. To
clarify, the prompt is normally supposed to pop up and
always did before, but the problem is it's so freakin big.
Granted I havn't looked at those links yet... also in
modplug tracker, it used to show like maybe 12 channels at
once, but now it only has room for like 9 or something. Ah
screw it, it's livable. Plus why fix it when I'll
predictably have to reformat again in a week.

Oh, well I've seen spy-type-ware things that bring up
messageboxes too big for you to click on, but maybe it's
just that your resolution has changed. You said you checked
in display properties, did you try setting it to anything
higher?

Also, I think the current version of musicmatch (the only
one downloadable currently apparently) is SUCK humongous and
awful... but I have an older version "musicmatch 7" or
something that is much smaller (file size) and simpler...
plus it can convert wavs to mp3s.

Accesability mode? I don't know of that, but it's not in
safe mode.

Hit ctrl and then scroll your little wheel on your mouse.

My mouse is a modified toe nail clipper; I havn't installed
a wheel on it.

go into your settings and change the fontsize then...

and your screen resolution might have been lowered... mine
is set super high so I can fit EVERYTHING in my screen.

Huh... I fixed it. Turns out it was the screen area
in display properties. Well don't that beat all! Thank me
for wasting your time. You're welcome.
