Hi,
Just wondering how alone I was in this IDM world in loving stuff by John Tavener and Arro Part, as well as Stravinsky and lots of other 20th century classical music?
I've heard of people like minimalist composers like Steve Reich and also people like Stockhausen (sp?) but not much else

you should check out "Everyman" by Pekka Pohjola. It has couple chorals and anyway is influenced by music you hear on lutheran churches :)
I guess everybody here likes Arvo Pärt.

You're not alone. That's the great thing about people. There's always a few people out there that'll like what you like. And the great thing about the internet is that it brings them together. My own prediliction is for classical choral. Tallis, Lassus and the like. Not 20th century those though.

I like 20th century stuff!
I love Arvo Part. And the minimalist dudes are ace also. I like classics like Gorecki's 3rd symphony.
