yeah it is aphex just well early stuff. I have have the
Universal Indicator blue and red EP's on vinyl. i downloaded
the green 1 but didn't think much to it the red TR-606 EP is
the best 1 i think. it's just pure hard acid house

i thought it was common knowledge that Univerasl Indicator
was aphex. i have seen them listed in alot of aphex
discographies too. and the orginal analog bubblebath 3 on
vinyl had a sheet of paper with it with an ad for the
Universal Indicator ep's. I'm sure it's him but me and alot
of other people could be wrong.

Rez is bang on!! Both Red & Green are Aphex...

a) You can def hear it's Aphex...think most of the UIs were
done on the same gear but RDJ has that AFX sound...

b) Check the discog at http://www.theaphextwin.com ... It's
in there with all the details...kinda confirms what you can
hear...

Thats not true. No one knows for sure except for RDJ
himself. UI RED and UI GREEN have something to do with Aphex
Twin but are not entirely done by him. He supposedly only
did a few songs for UI RED and .... *maybe* had something to
do with UI GREEN, at the most. Supposedly...

RED : ALL AFX...
GREEN : AFX + ?? (GRANT FROM REPHLEX??)..
BLUE: MIKE DRED AKA KOSMIC KOMMANDO...
YELLOW: MIKE DRED AKA KOSMIC KOMMANDO...

That seems to be the general consensus of opinion...from
various interviews of RDJ & others in the know...

I seem to recall a web page that detailed in exacting detail
the entire UI Series...but can't find it now...anyone got
the URL? or a copy?..

Exactly. But uh.... no... RED was not all RDJ, how come your
the only one who seems to know this, and just becaus it says
so on someones page doesnt mean its true.

And yes, the UI series is HORRIBLE.

Like I said in my post, I recall a URL with a very extensive
detailing of who did what to who for the UI series...I'll
try and dig it up as theres more detail there than you'd
possibly ever want...& it was from a very reliable source,
like someone who was involved...

But you can tell a lot just by using your ears....Aphex does
have a "sound" & even when someone else uses the same gear,
iy doesn't sound the same...

I ain't putting myself forward as some expert on all things
AFX...just passing on what I've found out over a long period
of time...& mine, like anybodies posts on the net, are
surrounded by a silent IMHO...

Chill...
