could somebody check the bpms on those fake tracks from the
Cylob set....

and see if they are 124 and 154 bpm...and if they are, well
then I guess its probably "ANALORD" the first relase and
then its BIG TROUBLE!!! because those tracks are SHIT!

I think they were Aphex not Analord, probably not for
general consumption.

The man presses up vinyl for his pals, it's not unheard of,
fair play to him. I was wondering, you know how Analord was
40 squids, I paid up straight away, for something I don't
know what it is (though i trust the AFX brand) , but how
much, I wonder, how much would the average punter have paid,
50 squid, 80, 100? HOW MUCH? I'd have gone to 250.

one is 150,4 bpm and the other 149,7 apperantly, so i guess
they're not analord, at least not analord 10.

i actually like the 2nd 'acid' track from the cylob set.
While a lot of people think they're fake they kinda have an
aphexish sound to them...they might be caustic window white
label...or who knows but richie.

Someone asked jess over on planet mu about the two cylob
live set tracks and she said they're not aphex, but that
doesn't mean its not another alias of some type. so. think
what you will.

The tempo is irrelevant in this day and age of multi
speed/time stretching playback trickery + something else

geddit? :)

so what does cylob not even beat match

cause other wise checking the bpm on tracks in a set wouldnt
prove anything

I really like that acid track, actually. Totally aphex.
Aphex is playing that track in the Rome set.

Let's face it. No matter how good analord will be. There
will be people saying it sucks. I've accepted this already.

Or even pitch sliders on 'tables ;-)

Rogybiv:

You can beat match tracks at a different tempo to their
original one!

when cylob played them live in bruxelles he slowed down the
ab3-like one so it was very weird when the beat kicked in,
like a BIG and SLOW punch in the face, the other was more or
less the same speed...
i like both of them in fact, in the context they were
pressed and played for they are truly exellent,
see it like that: if you don't find a track that suits your
needs as a dj then you can make your own and press it, it's
expensive but worth it :D
