i'm surprised there isn't any thread about it yet!

i haven't heard their latest album, but i really love the
first two... one of the best bands i discovered this year,
along with Mr Bungle, Cibo Matto and some others...

very sensual voice and a trippy ambiance...
are they popular here?

i love their music. i've got all their albums. i like the
early stuff, but the last two albums blow those away, imo.

I've got one of their albums, The Dreams that Breathe Your
Name, and it's slick, I like what'sherface's smoky voice.
What's their best?

it's hard to say... i think it's about even between Dreams
and Queen of the Meadow. both of those albums are
outstanding.

well, i'm glad you like it! i don't know if i'd compare it
to the swans, personally... the swans feel very big to me,
elysian fields very intimate. maybe that's just my
perspective.

Fuckable. Jumpin' Jesus Jones.

I've heard all their albums now, great stuff. Bleed Your
Cedar is definitely the best. Been downhill since then so I
think they should retire and send the girl to me.

after a google search i found out you can listen to three
tracks here... the page has a really crappy
unpractical layout (on Firefox at least) but it's in
"audio/video".

that's a really good tune... they seem to have a lot of
diverse styles they incorporate in their music... you might
still like some of the other songs from that album Queen Of
The Meadow. "Bayonne" and "Rope Of Weeds" come to mind. i
love those nice, really soft songs...
