so, the grand prize was a copy of legofeet. was it from xltronic or from autechre? can anybody clear this up? i don't remember.. |

it's still on the front page: AUTECHRE REMIX CONTEST 2003 We received an overwhelming response to this contest. What else can we say when the number of contributions exceeded 180? The voting period for People's Choice ended on July 31st, 2003 and the winner exillon (entry#96) won a copy of Lego Feet 12". Autechre's Choice has finally arrived to my mailbox and we have two winners: amnesie (entry#51) and goodhands team (entry#106) - they will both receive a copy of Lego Feet 12". All remix entries can be found here... that doesn't really answer your question though. i remember something about a signed copy, but i guess i'm wrong. |

sorry i wasn't trying to be an ass... I understand its nice to know if it came from the AE themselves, but in the end its just a vinyl. Unless its signed or something. |

well on watmm they were talking about whether or not autechre was legofeet or not, and someone had mentioned that autechre had given away the vinyl as the award for the remix contest, but someone else had said they thought it was from xltronic. so i came here to try to find out, not that it really says anything about whether or not autechre is legofeet or not. so there you have it, that's why i asked. |

i never heard the lego feet ep but i've read from various interviews (at least 2) that rob from autechre really liked (i guess as a child) legos & that autechre music can work like legos (complex, contruction, added pieces). |

I have a buddy who are trying to convince me to sell my rare records (like Lego Feet). He says that in a few years, the "Autechre hype" will be over, and the records value, will decrease. |

autechre sent me a couple of copies of legofeet 12"... i distributed two of them to the winners. |

they are/were all sealed when I got them - and this was BEFORE SKAM decided to sell their spare Legofeet vinyls. the value decreased a lot at that point ;-) |
