I saw a bit of the making of the new band aid on tv the other day. It showed dizzy turn up into the vocal booth, does his 2 lines of rap. one take all done. they say what about the 2nd bit. He didnt realise he had to do 2.... so after 3 minutes to write it he comes back does the 2nd rap, again only one take, then walks out of the studio with all the techy people gobsmacked. total time in the building, about 5 mins... and 2 perfect takes. all the other 'stars' spent half a day and dozens of takes. gotta hand it to him |
