Dawn of the Dead.

Cannibal Holocaust and Un Chien Andalou are available for
download at this place. I you know how to use Bit Torrent
that is.

The others I'm not sure where they're available as I've only
seen a couple of them.

if you like greenaway i suppose you must have "the cook, the
thief, his wife and her lover" - a classic if ever there was
one - and Helen Mirren is the sexiest over-40er on
this planet!

There are a couple of DVD collections of "The early films of
Peter Greenaway", which include The Falls and, my favourite,
Water Wrackets. But I can only find them on Amazon.

of late 60s godard films will be released then... which is
super-wicked because they are pretty damn hard to see these
days... did i mention how awesome it is that you dig
week-end? most people can't stomach it... they are sux0rz

i found a bunch of other stuff from lynch, drowning by
numbers and un chien andalou. and i found a place that sells
canibal holocaust, the original dawn of the dead, and the
original nosferatu.
but the one i want to see most of all is holy mountain
which i can't find even to buy in the u.k....

haha ... holy mountain... we were all stoned at the time and
were unable to make it the whole way through... i had
completely forgotten about that... isn't there some sort of
recreation in it...? something like: the mexican revolution
as reenacted by frogs or something...

i have no idea but i saw a few images from the movie on some
website and i pissed myself, they were so damn creepy.
i don't even know what it's about... i just really like
creepy and discusting movies...thus canibal holocaust, and
begotten.

actually it might not really be about much of anything in
the narrative sense... but um... yeah... you could put it on
at a party and trip the fuck out of everyone... also in that
vein: stop-animation films of the Brothers Quay... so
meticulous... so awesome... so so awesome... and there's a
nice compilation DVD/VHS of a lot of them...

i'm just happy i found all the stuff i did from lynch...the
alphabet and six men getting sick, six times, are both less
that 5 minutes each, and both equally disturbing.

has anyone ever seen that sigur ros video where it's a
classroom full of little kids and then it cuts to them
playing outside for recess during the night with huge gas
masks on and shit flying around in the air. and then at the
end the little girl dies cause some how her gas mask came
off... i think she dies anyways...
it is incredible.

play.com, you silly.

The Early Films Of Peter Greenaway - Vol.1

The Early Films Of Peter Greenaway - Vol.2 (including "the falls")

The Draughtsman's Contract

A Zed And Two Noughts

these are all reissues by the British Film Institute, GREAT
quality transfers (there's a nice featurette on "the
draughtman's contract" showing how they cleaned up the film
digitally - it's very impressive), lots of extra's including
introductions by Peter Greenaway or commentary tracks (on
the feature lengths).

these are region 2, though.

"un chien andalou" has only just been released on dvd, also
by the British Film Institute, together with "l'age d'or",
the second film Dali and Bunuel made together.

I also got my copy from play.com.

again, only region 2.

in general, you'll find a lot of what you want either at
play.com and/or playUSA.com.

both send without shippingcosts.

local dvd-shop - it wasn't cheap and probably Spanish, can't
remember very well.

Have you got Lynch's more mainstream stuff??? You HAVE to
own Mullholland Drive on DVD it is my favourite film.
Properly dark dark stuff.

I got the Eraserhead DVD in the little box set thing thats
out... Eraserhead, Lost Highway and Mullholland Drive.
Absolute must if you haven't got any of those yet.
LAZY_TITLE

Looks like its not out in the US but for this little its
probably worth paying the postage from the UK.

Wow I just found this on Lynchnet.com

"The October 28 issue of Australia's Herald Sun newspaper
features an interview with actor Kick Gurry (Garage Days,
Buffalo Soldiers) where, amongst other things, he mentions
he's going to be in a new David Lynch film. No other details
are given, so it's hard to say if this is really a new film
or another web short. So don't take this as a confirmation
of a new Lynch film, but it's certainly a positive sign."
