I read the book when I was about 12 and was completely
gripped, brilliant stuff. I've been meaning to watch the
film ever since, but I'm still yet to get around to it.

I've read the book, but not seen the movie...it's a bit
dated but good.

He's also written some other good books like Midwich Cuckoos
and The Chrysalids. I wish I still had copies of these ...
they are not easy to find in the States.

I did read the book, only saw parts of the BBC adaptation.

the American film made in the 60s is really awful, btw.

We had to read this in school when i was about 14. I've

remember it was very good.

I have read the book and really liked it, I haven't watched
more than parts of the movie but it looked fun. I sampled
the soundtrack in older music.

I've seen the original film, read the book, and have it on
audio cassette, which is really great ! Well read by someone
whose name I've forgotten.
