I saw the rejection of gay marriage on cnn. 9/10 (High score means it was very unjust)

this problem is silly and could be resolved very quickly if the word marriage was left out from the government end of things and left to the churches to do with what they see fit. in the government's eyes everything should be called a union, and provide the same rights and penalties, regardless of the genders of the participants. both sides win. churches get to keep their institution sacred and leave out anyone they want, while the government can provide an equal service to all participants with the same label in case semantic discrimination bothers someone. for those gays who wish to marry inside the church, i'm going to have to say tough luck. their private institution, their policies. we can't go around forcing our beliefs on others now can we?

I'm glad the gays are not allowed to sanctify their illegal bum partnership, and what's more, I hope they both die of GAIDS at Christmas or whatever holiday it is that the gay religion celebrates.
10/10
