Hey ho all. Here is a new new track I've been working on. It's got a bit of this 'n that here and there, fast and slow. All comments appreciated :D |

cheat. no bumping allowed. i downloaded it, it was okay. the beats were pretty good, some nifty sounds here and there though the melody didn't do much for me(quite bland). |

i like this track. i think it could really use some sort of droning sound or a soft synth sound to hold it together. it feels like it's missing something like that. but otherwise, it's a cool idea. the time shifts are great. |

I'm liking this track. It's got a certain something to it. The time shifts work FOR the track instead of against which you would normally find. The beats are spot on and nicely arranged and well put in the mix. You need a little something else in the track though to make it sounds 100% finished :) Overall though a good track and enjoyable :) |

Yep, the time shifts are excellent. As for the rest of the track, I was not too keen on it. Don't know what it is actually, but it didn't rock my socks. You did a good job. |

the drums sound a little tin-can-ish, but i like the time change up thing that you did. my suggestion would be to add a 'main' sound to follow. everything that is present already seems like it would kind of wrap around whatever it is that's missing. know what i mean?? the time change up is better the second time around. nice work! |

love it.. time changes actually came it at the right times.. i agree with maybe just a bit more "thickness" to the melody but u have great variations in there razor- p.s thanx for the critique on mine, can always rely on u. ;) |

I have reworked the track a bit after taking into concideration the comments. Here's what I did. = Tried to make the synth flow more (more ambiance) = Beefed up the beats a bit = Added a little intro = Enhanced some of the drilling Please check it out :D |

i only heard the new version. i agree that the time shifting is well done, it doesn't sound forced or gratuitous. it sounds like a theme for an evil spy as he prepares his malevolent plan... i'd still prefer to hear a more developed melodic line worked in, the track works technically but in terms of the tune it's still a bit generic. maybe building to fuller chords or triads or even combining two notes instead of just using quarter and eight notes one note at a time would add some depth... |
