it's great idea - too bad it has low-quality samples...

OMG
THIS THING FUCKING RULESSSSSSS ASS!!!!!!!!!!
OH BABY YES YES YESSSSS

r40... WTF are you talkin about?!
Low-quality IS the Speak n Spell!
That's what circuit bending is based on dude!! (low-res)
They don't need 600 bit 3 billion kilohertz to sound good.

oh yeah, i know. that's not what i meant. i mean when you
have all these low-quality samples playing at once it
doesn't sound the way a real circuit-bent speak n spell
would - it sounds really garbled like an mp3.

umm.... wait for them to stop?
:-p

What I would do is record each sample and Acid-ize it or
somethin..
Make them all loopable for software use.
Or MPC (Akai) it, if you got one of those.

Man, I was really hoping that you had some 'real' bending of
the Speak n Spell. Cause I recently got me one, and I'm
looking for some crazy stuff to do with it. As for now, I'm
only using it to do acapella versions of LFO (Leeds
Warehouse Mix).
If you got any tips, please post here or hit me with an
e-mail. I'd be most obliged.

The Flash-thingie was pretty dope, but the quality of the
sound was pretty bad compared to the real thing, altough I
can't really comment on the bended sounds. It was a bit
distractive when I click the switches and the skin changes.
But it was a hell of an idea, and kudos to you for making it
real.

Well, I have a few linkies laying around here somewheres...

Ohhhhhh you got some dope mixes on your site!

The Flash SnS sounds pretty good to me...
Yeah the skin idea was bad.
This should help though
Probably has more links than I do.
