i like your music.
only have a question, why don't you apply some effects to
tracks, or make some drums samples, like, some frequencies
high up, some down to zero, have some saucy reverb on some
frequency range of snares, some slight distortion on bass
drumz, so that you don't hear dist, but definitely hear
something strange about the sound?
panning, etc...
i guess this is called mastering, or mixing, or producing...
maybe you don't want to?

Ok, nevermind:) I have 10 tracks by you and your band now;
still zats de zafe way to doo it is my favourite among them.

thanks!

well.. I've tried mixing, but I'm just not good at it.. I
practice all the time, though...

about just adding sounds.. well, i've never felt like i
needed to in my music, but I'll try to think of it when I
make more stuff...

nice, i like. haha, listening to your last song, streaming
directly into winamp - the song kept buffering, i thought it
was part of the song the first few times (a second or two of
silence periodically).

wow, that last song is actually really something.

what'd you make it in/with, and how long did it take you?

Drunken Mastah, try Acid Pro 3 - much better than 4th!!!

P.S. 1: i already said this before
P.S. 2: i tried Sony Acid 4, not Sonic Foundry. Sony bought
Acid, but maybe there exists Sonic Foundry Acid 4 which is
better than 3rd.

fucking it up.

yeah, their success in fucking up Acid is _amazing_. How did
they dare to release that shit.

It is the sony one I've got... it works perfectly.. more
automation, which is good, and even if my computer sucks it
runs!

the creation of asstastic is not straight forward... I had
an old sample that I had tracked in madtracker (the first
phrase of the song.. the harp).. I exported the pattern that
from madtracker into acid, and made the drums, plus the
stuff in the middle, which is made of cut-up and pitched
versions of the original tracked pattern.

thanks for listening everyone!
