haha... yes good sir i bought it.

honestly, it was a bit of a letdown for me. first time i've
ever been disappointed by anything the melvins have been
involved in.

the music is mostly ok, but it's nothing terribly exciting.
the last song is the melvins ripping off their own song
Brain Center At Whipples (off HAT). the production doesn't
help, because it isn't particularly heavy-sounding. the
songs aren't particularly fast or slow. it's just kinda...
blah...

and i really think that jello just did a rush job with his
vocals and lyrics.

i hate to say it, but i think that this could have been
something really great that has missed the mark. i mean,
the melvins are my favorite band, the dead kennedys are one
of my favorites, i like a lot of what jello has done
recently. but unfortunately i'm just not into this one.

if you're going to decide between the melvins and jello or
the melvins and lustmord, hands down go with the latter.
that album is excellent.

i already bought the later, the day it came out

im going to get the mentioned one as well

the lsutmord, im going to hump it

in alternative press magazine (subsribe, or go to the
bookstore and read the page interview)

at the bottom they do a "rocks like"
quicksand-maniac compression
bad wizard-#1 tonite!
cougar-manhandler

onlly heard of quicksand, they are a basic rock/metal band

i hte most reviews, they just tear down the good stuff
and want you to watch the nick/jessica special

I've only heard a couple of songs of them. To be honest i
dont even really remember.

Something about "slower" comes to mind.

yeah, rock journalists are stupid. i've only heard of bad
wizard - they didn't interest me that much. but you should
check out this site: LAZY_TITLE it has mp3's of a lot
of stoner rock bands who have been influenced by melvins.
