Chapped Lips

What causes this exactly?
I've been getting chapped lips this month, and I have never
had them before in my entire life.

Is it getting them moist in cold weather over and over. Like
repeated licking them?

I dont know but they are no good

That does make sense. I'm not drinking that much lately.
I should fill up the brita and carry it around the house.

Don't use chapstick...

That makes them more dehydrated in the long run.

it always happens to the fingers in my right hand except the
little 5th one (don't remember the name in english), around
the nail, and for the thumb on all the round surface of the
fingertip... it even comes to the point of bleeding
sometimes and i have to use homeoplasmine and band-aids.

never happens to my left hand though. go figure...

I just keep licking 'em, but evidently that's the worst
thing you can do. Other than chapstick I don't know of any
remedy. The Brita idea sounds as good as any.

The lips are still a mystery to me, but for your hands, buy
this stuff called corn huskers lotion. it's yellow and it
comes in a bottle. I think you can get it at the grocery
store. it works much better than lubriderm or any of that
other stuff

i get drry lips. it's shit. i think it's because i bite them
until they bleed.

yeah, tried a few things, have this stuff now in a handy
bottle labelled in big letters 'hand lotion' (made one of my
friends lol) which seems to work ok. the feeling of dry
hands is horrible though, even with the stuff rubbed in.

ick, don't know why it's happened all of a sudden. might
have to do with me not eating quite as well as i should be,
and not having regular sleeping cycles (it's 4:30AM now, for
example).

i have the (bad) habit of tearing off the skin of the upper
part of my upper lip with my teeth... : |

My lower lip has these very dry strips that I bite.
Once my teeth clamp down tightly over it, I lower my lip
swiftly, ripping it off. This makes my lip taste bloody.

I do that too. I've got a habit of biting/ripping the skin
off my lips and the ends of my fingers. It's all fun and
games until it really fucking stings.
