moland is a real good director (not sure if he's swedish or norweigan but he makes films in norway)... i saw 'beautiful country' just yesterday, and i loved 'aberdeen'. another one i loved was 'insomnia'. there was another one that i remember really liking it...it was about some sailors that find something they shouldn't have on spitzberg island... |

Last night I watched the Danish film "Breaking the waves" by Lars Von Thier if that helps. I'd be interested in watching more Scandinavian stuff if people can recommend me some Norwegian goodies. |

The best norwegian movie I've seen must be "Mongoland". It's available on dvd with english subtitles. |

Moland is my favorite director , i loooove Aberdeen and Zero Kelvin. I havn't seen Beautiful country yet but i plan to. I know i have seen more but the only other i can think of now is "Elling" wich was pretty ok. |

probably the saddest film i've ever seen..real depressing stuff. great contrasts..filled with emotions..makes you think. if you thought life was ok before the film, you definitely don't think that anymore :) photography is absolutely awesome! i'll definitely watch it again. |
