so far i have radio amor and mirages. i'm gonna get the
other album in a minute, if i remember what its called. for
me a good sign if i like something is never hearing the end
of an album but still being happy enough to listen to it
from the beginning all over again the next day.

Never heard of him

What does he do?

He's a great ambien artist similar to Christan Fennez but
less reliant on traditional pop song structure. He's a
master at blending melody and dreamy synth chords with
distortion and static similar to an untuned radio. Really
pulls at my heart strings this guy.

Tim Hecker is probably one of my favorite artists.
"Haunt me, Haunt me, Do it again" goes in my top 3 of best
albums. I like him more then fennesz.

i just discovered tim hecker also, "radio amor" sounds like
erik satie's earlier works after traveling a million light
years through space, full of warm static and suggestive,
distorted piano (maybe?) phrases and melodies...

now that mille plateaux is gone, will this cd be
unavailable? did the north american distribution evaporate
also? anyone know?

Radio Amor is probably one of my favourite albums. I could
just get lost in that album forever.

His ambient stuff is great. One of the best guys out there.

The Jetone stuff is not so good, ok-ish i guess.

yeah, haunt me..is excellent! (you can get it from me if you
like).
and there are quite a number of artist into kind of a same
thing... this gives me hope that you'll start apreciating
philip jeck, who's surely one of the top artists atm :)
maybe the his '7' album would be the best one to start
with..his most ambient and least abstract one...you can then
move to his other albums which are absolutely brilliant.
