This will probably turn out sounding really dumb, but I had picked up an old cd that I haven't really listenend too in a few years and I had a surge of emotions run through me all at once. Its Northern Exposure Vol 1, by Sasha and Digweed, but the cover art just really got me. Old memories of smoking weed for the first times, hanging out with friends just listening to this album with all the lights out and the winamp visulization running... I know, sounds gay. Then theres the art itself, which reminded me of all this; the excessive blue tone which I really like, and the lonely polar bear just lying down in freezing cold ice, yet looking so comfortable and relaxed. For a moment, I was there right beside him. |

Pretty oldschool, but not too outdated sounding. Nice atmospheres, FSOL + William Orbit are on it.... |

Its great to picj up an album and remember then fond memories of it. Sometimes i can relate the album to the aroma of burgers on the grill while me and my buddies drank cheap beer and enjoyed laughs on a memorable 70 degree day in April. |
