some of my friends are in a band called TRees, who've just set up a record label - .. they played their first gig and it was quite incredible and now there's .wmas up on their site () of the performance. although the bootleg doesn't capture the power of the actual performance very well (where the music kicks back in at 3:15 on "Stress Pills", my favourite track, was much much much more moving live than on the recording) i thought i'd share the links with you as they're well deserving of the recognition they're sure to get. just to clarify - it isn't pure idm/electronica. there's laptop usage, but also singing, bass and guitar playing, drumming and djing. |
