Does anyone here know a good film editing program i can get? I'm trying to do some shit on my comp. so i need the program to be able to delete scenes, add music, and add special effects (like explosions and being able to make like blood is squirting out of someone's head) n' shit like that.

dunno much on it but if you cruise the newsgroups you might be able to find some cracked software. soundforge is quite cool for the audio editing/ dub / mix bits but not too sure about the visuals
also, try to see if your local university will let you use or rent their gear, especially during the holidays when it sits there getting all lonely

Vegas Video 3.0 is great. It's also expensive, but why pay? I'm sure you can get it for free...
