he's married... to a woman. not that that's definative or anything, but whatever. i like the idea of soldier turned diplomat. he seemed to have a level head, and seemed to be the only person in the administration that realized that we needed to do some serious planning if we were going to go into iraq. |

i may be getting my dates mixed up, but i think powell presented his evidence after he was severely smacked down for recomending more diplomacy. i think that was one of the last important things he did, and it was the straw that broke the camel's back. that's when i started thinking he had been made irrelevant by the admin, and that he would be gone soon. |
