not surprising since he's working with the neptunes, who are
known to listen IDM. (they nominated squarepusher in the
longlist awards)

I was very disappointed when the song wasnt in 13/5 with
granular morphing spectral modulation using algorithmical
mathmatical fractal based synthesis.

heh... rap has always been cutting edge. Listen to the
music.

Its always been 2 steps ahead of everything else (and I mean
everything).

man. that new song is annoying as hell.

the clicking with the mouth is an awful little gimmick (I
mean, it's like the poormans beatboxing), it doesn't sound
very good, in fact - it's rather lazy.

but then the video lays all this emphasis on it too.
jeeeesus.

Heh... that single is pretty mediocre... but I am listening
to some of the other songs on the album... classic death row
with gap band influences... snoop is one of the more
consistant icons in the hiphop game... honestly, he is still
one of my favorites. I would definately choose this over
squarepusher or muziq.

you just look at where hip hop is right now.
of what is it exactly ahead? really, I'd like to know.
I think you're the one that's narrowminded.
don't think I don't enjoy hip hop. I really like hip hop.
but this snoop track is really really bad.

Listen to the bidness... track three on the same album...
that shit is hot. I know a few of the tracks on this album
is co-produced by pharrel of the neptunes...

Yeah... it usually takes people to realize that a lot of the
cutting edge production is being done in pop and hip-hop.
IDM, glitch, minimal, what have you, is behind pop and rap
music more often than not. Where did autechre get most of
their ideas?

works for me. it's that damned annoying song.

maybe you can't play .asx files or something?

damn. Neptunes normally sell a song with some kind of
gimmick involved, but mostly those gimmicks are pretty
inventive. this one is just so easy.

confident, cocky, lazy, dead.

You have drawn the right conclusion, he's lazy now. But then
who can blame him? He only has to say "fa shizzle ma nizzle"
or whatever on a track one time and he's made enough money
to last me the year.
