I don't have and don't watch TV, thus there is no MTV in my life:) I like groovy idm like Lusine 'Rushhour', harsh sarcastic techno, groovy industrial like Interim, Ich Gehe Jetzt by EN, harsh noise, tracks made of common everyday life sounds and composed under techno influence, classic music with irresistible melodies and harmonies; music which annnoys friends when they annoy me. my own music, because i know everything in it in advance. |

good music exists at diferent levels not all mainstram is bad, not all underground music is good but people who don really like music or dont have the time to investigate a little will just listen what they are given in the mainstream formulas... but if you really like music and search for it, there is plenty of ways to get to it... look at us. still, I think there are lots of artists that sell millions of lps which are quite good: (the cure, massive attack, radiohead, bjork, beck, u2, rem, depeche mode, pet shop boys, strokes, placebo...) |

for me, and by me, i am in no way discrediting anything that doesnt fall into this catagory... but for me, the best music is the stuff that has heart... mainly depressing stuff for me (ie tom waits, elliott smith... marvin gaye) if it has soul it'll move me forever... a funky tune will only be on rotation for a limited period of time... |
