Fuck, the amount of addresses trying to connect to my pc is
fucking phenomenal. Peerguardian has cut my spyware level to
like 10% of what it was previously. I love peerguardian.

i think that firewalls basicly suck, cos they are just a
teaser for hackers.

it's just my opinion..i don't use it anymore and my pc is
runnig fine.

contrary to popular belief firewalls are actually
more dangerous to have than no protection at all!
This is due to the fact that firewalls only tease hackers
and thus provoke them to do more to your computer.

That's usin' yer knoggin :)

honestly that's the best thing about macs. Hackers/spamers
don't even bother. My Pc was under attack all the time from
everywhere! Does peerguardian work?

It seems to work but the cunting thing eats up processor
cycles like a crazy whore.

Is there anything similar that doesn't do that?

Wasn't that thing written in VB6? It's not too hard to write
some sort of firewall in C# (and probably C++ too though I
don't know that so well). VB6 is not the best language for
system-fiddling apps.

I realise that's not actually any help to anybody but there
you go...

Aye, that's true enough. When you're under serious attack it
can pretty much lock up your pc. It does work though.

Also, i'm sure i resolved to go to sleep about half
an hour ago. Eating frusli bars and staring at a monitor
seems to be very addictive for some reason.

Also: God DAMN that's irrelevant to the topic.

I'm thinking the same thing and as author of the topic I
vote it's acceptable.

I have no idea mate. I'm as far from programming as
possible.
