hahahahahahhahaha, thats hilarious!! Is that really true??!

I have to admit, every time I see a Bush supporter they are
usually pretty dim and arrogant. Whenever I seen a
Democratic supporter they seemed pretty normal and
intelligent.... scary thing is i'm not exaggerating.

george W bush. ;-)

Just to clarify, do the people who are really upset by (and
complaining about) Bush being re-elected:

A) Think that democracy is a farce and that we'd be better
of without it.
Or,
B) Assume anyone who doesn't vote the same way as them/share
their politics, is "stupid"?

*Disclaimer: I don't support Bush. I just don't let my
dislike of him cloud my judgement.

OK. OK Ya'll are really generalizing..really really
generalizing.

As an American I am neither an "idiot" not am I "stupid" nor
did I vote for our current President.

I would also like to add that those who did re-elect Bush
are the country while folk ex: ALL MIDDLE STATES!.

ALL Yanks voted for Kerry for his is a democrat.

And for the record Bush didnt even win his own State, and
I'm not talking about Texas.

I do agree with you Cfern, but if Bush does do something
about our economy-downsizing and this war then I won't feel
so depressed to have him as OUR President. Now if he
continues to put us in this shit hole then I would tell all
those who did vote for him "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!"

afxNUMB - you have a point there as well. it wasn't just
stupid people who voted for bush.

corporate executives shrewdly voted for him to protect their
financial interests. some of the wealthiest men in america
surely voted for bush, probably because he has given them
preposterous amounts of money in tax breaks and secured them
and their corporations the above-the-law status to which
they are accustomed. and those people, the really rich, are
not necessarily stupid.

everyone else has no excuse - they're stupid. plain and
simple.

point well taken.

I will also like to add that most people who voted for bush
say "they need a strong president" compared to Kerry fine
maybe Kerry wouldnt know what to do with this situation
we're in but obviously the approach Bush has taken isnt
working, but whatever thats there opinion and we're stuck
with Bush for another 4 years

offline epohs from )C: on 2004-11-09 10:45 [#01388964]

to assume that everyone who voted for bush is stupid
oversimplifies the issues, and ignores the fact that it's a
whole lot more complicated than that.

it's counterproductive on many levels to make that
acusation. and this point of view is at least one of the
reasons why the democrats are having such a tough time
politically right now.

the republicans seem to've figured out that just calling the
other guys idiots doesn't seem to work too well, which is
why their PR campaigns are more successful. and, why they
now control every branch of our government.

who's being foolish here?

i feel like i'm living on an island. nobody in the south
cares about the economy, the environment, civil liberties.
all they care about is making sure this country lives by
their god's rules.

you're absolutely right - i'm just having fun. it's
irresponsible to go around calling people names, and i've
been saying it with a bit of colloquial humor that most have
missed.

but it you think about it long enough... yeah, they're
stupid.

see, i just think that's an extremely narrow view of our
political environment.

does this look like only people in the south
identify with bush's politics?
