So last night me and the missus went to see the Warp Videos
screening followed by DJ's Buddy Peace and Zilla of Warpmix
CD fame

Videos:
of Warpmix CD fame.

Videos:
- they played
- afx, sqrspshr, broadcast, lfo, beans, APC, plaid

It was really cool seeing em on the big screen and the
following got massive applause from the crowd:
Gantz Graf, Cmon my Selector, Come to Daddy.

I particularily liked Nannou. I was a tad stoned ... it had
been a while

Gig
It took a while to get going and when they started they
played waaay too much hiphop so i had a nice time chatting
to folks i had met at Sonar and a mexican dude hooked on
psytrance. The DJ's then really took off with their crazy
mixing of warp backcatalogue.

Jesus they had 4 decks between them and it was unreal the
amount of tunes they squeezed in. Tiny snippets of Tri
Repetae would emerge over hip-hop beats, little flecks of
"Red hot car" bubbled to the surface only to be chewed uo by
more cutt-up beats and scratche. Me and the g/f found
ourselves constantly arguing over which was what song -
while we danced our socks off.

The highlight had to be their stretched-out cut-up version
of Windowlicker which was surrounded in a twisted package of
distorted hip-hop noodlings. They played a full 2 hours of
Warp-influenced dirty beats and the crowd went nuts. Top gig
and the BP&Z guys get the keyfumbler stamp of approval.
