i was wondering does everyone on here read / write english,
or do you use some kind of translater program to read /
write, given that there are loads of different countries and
languages here, i was just thinking to myself wow, do they
all speak english, eh?

some kind of translator, but others you cant tell, so they
must be able to read it and write it, wow guys i'm humbled

Computer translators are pretty worthless if you ask me.
Have you ever tried translating something into a foreign
language and then translating it back again? Pure mumbo
jumbo

in norway, english is taught from the age of 9 or 10 (can't
remember), but kids pick up some skills by watching tv-shows
from the us and england.

those who use translator programs, please step forward. i
don't think there are any, though. the language seems to be
pretty good around here (some users excluded...)

i still learn, mostly here coz mostly i spend my time on
this fake board. sometimes i watch some films in oroginal
language versions, without subtitles. and i learned much
when i was in scotland for 3 months.
i use translators only for japanese, sometimes.

Well after all, American English is a bastardised form of
proper English. Just look at all those words with the
typos.

what?
translators in xlt?
where?

seriously, it would be a waste of time translating all the
post and words... a person who doesnt know (a bit of)
english wouldnt come to xlt... simply he wouldnt arrive
here.
