it's actually scary I swear, not like the Grudge where the
only fear factor is the sudden boosts of volume.

my one complaint: the industrial music. should have used
some Richard Devine or...yeah Richard Devine

why would Richard Devine waste his time pretending to be
someone else on a message board when he has complex
algorythms and hot girlfriend to attend to?

okay yes

Ju-on: The Grudge is well scary!!! I've not seen the
holywood version. Is it just all 'make you jump' moments
then?

I've posted this about a thousand times... but I want to say
it again...

this film is NOT scary... it has a cheap see-through plot,
terrible acting, and cheesy CHEESY gimmicky gore. What a
fucking waste of time this is... spend your money on
something like a midnight viewing of eraserhead.

I totally disagree. You make it out to be horrible. I
enjoyed it

I was originally going to give this movie at 1 out of 5
because of the horrendous acting and surplus of plot holes
but then I thought about the
story line, which was kind of cool, and the ending whereas I
was completely taken by suprise.

So, 2 out 5, rent if you're bored. Even then, you should
find something better to do.

"it has a cheap see-through plot,"

Explain why you think this, back yourself up.

can someone post a spoiler/what this film is all about? I
don't really understand things from the commercial.

ok, bush wins an election, then starts a nuclear war within
2 days of winning, al queda retaliates and the whole world
is dead within 10-14 days. great film, btw.

I thought it was ok. Not innovative or majorly surprising
but better than some tripe people call 'classics'
nowerdays.

It's still worth going to see.

want to know why it's see through?

what is the mannequin... where does he come from? what
significance does he have other than a cheap scare
device...

the fact that the killer "traps" these characters into
"inescapable" situations...

how do they get there in the first place? why does he
honestly want to kill them? Says things liek "you are a
voyeur" and "now you are the one that gets to deliver the
death message" to the doctor...

fucking a...

why would he put so much time into creating the devices with
which he kills his victims?

if anyone needs to be taught a lesson about your life, its
not the people this "madman" targeted... its simply a cheap
device to tell the viewer what's right and what's wrong...
for example a prostitute with a drug problem escaped his
this TRAP and ended up quitting drugs because she
"appreciated life more" or some shit... what the fuck... why
would the fact that someone try to kill make you do anything
more than do more drugs...

why are people being scared like this?

scary is the government.
scary is ladies in the radiator.
scary is leatherface.

why should i be scared of this?

actually the title should be called "flip flop"

as to john kerry's supposed political debut as president.

"great guitars on this campaign... i really like the
production..."
