hi!
i've just released a new ep... feel free to download it, the
music is really personal and reflects the last 4 months of
emotional shit i've been through.
download
xanpha - here i lie on the floor, crumpled up like ideas on
paper ep

01 - this one is about
02 - not the only one
03 - your angelic response

thankyou
comments really welcome, as this also doubled as my
university portfolio

_james

the first cover is kind of "The Fragile"-ish.

thanks...
if anyone else listens, i would really love comments on the
3rd track "your angelic response" as i've got it into my
head that its the greatest thing i've ever done :) thankyou

I like it, I do like track 3 the best as I'm not so
keen on the beats in the other tracks as they, for me,
for me detract a bit from the excellent backing. But
track 3 is a wonder, a fragile (not The Fragile) thing of
beauty, sadness and wonder. I think you have a great niche
in creaky, dusty, atmospheric electronica which I LIKE
IMMENSELY.

oh thankyou, i really appreciate that :) i think my ambient
beatless stuff always tends to go down a bit better, perhaps
i dont really have a knack for beats? :) cheers for
listening

angelic response gives a feeling of ennui with warmth

it felt like it gave me a hug

sorry to be an asshole but i value your opinion

not at all dude... thanks for listening...

interesting that its coming across as warm and nice to some
of you... as its a really depressing sad one for me, the
breakdowns at 2 mins and 4 mins are somewhat of a metaphor
for emotional stability, in particular the last breakdown...
but i dont wanna get too deep and arty wanky about it,
really glad you'se is liking it

I'm not saying the beats are bad, just for me, imo etc etc I
like the backing, the mood the feel etc more, IMHO etc etc
without the beats, but that's just a matter of personal
taste.

In summary: There's nothing wrong with the beats.

hehe thanks, im just always doubtful when it comes to
rhythms... im definatly more confident in the chord / tone /
texture department :)

i cant express myself using my emmotion through my music,
well not on purpose. I think its good if you can, its
considered a release after all.

nice ep! i liked the first track a lot, but the last track
really stood out as being excellent. beautifully done. the
production on this ep is quite good as well. overall, i dig
it - short and sweet.
