i saw a photo shoot that syd barret (former Floyd frontman) did before going loony and one of the pictures looks strikingly similiar to the cover art on RDJ..could richard have been floyd influenced? |

hmm thats a good question....i saw the picture on the tube but im sure if its on there its gotta be avaible on the computer...i know it was shot in 68 if that helps....but let me search for it |

yes syd is still allive and kickin (well, sort of) he was institutionalized for a while cus he was slightly insane.. hes out now and lives quietly in.. well somewhere in england. apparently he's written a book, and it is going to be released in the near future |

his mother died - he was allegedly polishing off a book on architecture but i have found no trace of it. he wasn't insitutionalised - he voluntarily checked into a home for raving lunatics, and that was way back in the early '70s. i remember seeing a picture of him when he was chubby with short receeding dark hair - man it almost broke my heart that picture. |
