I wish I had been the Doctor's companion in the Tom Baker
years.

companion in the least gayest sense, ofcourse.

He used the stripes on his scarf to measure things.

Measure in the least gayest sense of the word, of course.

I saw Tom Baker about 2 months ago walking past turnkey (a
music shop in london village) ! He's really tall! My
favourite of all the doctors.

he did not use the stripes on his scraf to measure other
men's peniseses, for example.

strictly for his own Time Lord.

I like how his Tardis would expand as one would enter it.

The tardis was reeeeeeally phallic. I won't accept
any disagreement with this statement.

Nice little story from popbitch:

Popbitch favourite Tom Baker was spotted on
Beak St, Soho last weekend. A young man went
up to him and asked for his autograph.

Baker noticed the chap was carrying a
textbook and said, "You're a student aren't you?"

"Yes," replied the chap.

"Ah, you have my deepest condolences," replied
Tom, who then grabbed the book and slipped
a ten pound note inside.

My brother made me watch Tom Baker growing up. Now I have
occasional weird nightmares of his crazy faces spinning
around.

reminds me of that tommy cooper tipping story.. he was
getting out of a black taxi and he pushed his two fingers
into the taxi drivers shirt pocket saying "here, have a
drink on me mate" - it was a tea-bag
