How many of you are going to watch this as it happens on Tuesday? I've never watched a US election before, how long would it go on for? Its on from midnight here, luckily i'm not at work the next day so i'll probably stay up and watch it.

you're right, it's a little more important than a football game. but sometimes you wouldn't know it.

most likely, there will be coverage all night and into the next day. "coverage" meaning varying predictions and subjective speculation.

I'm going to stay up for this, sort of. I'll watch The Sopranos then fall asleep in the chair and wake up at about 2am and carry on from there, slightly more refreshed than if I had tried to stay awake the whole night.

There's no reason to watch really. It's going to come down to counting the votes weeks after the election. I'm predicting.
Hopefully Kerry wins big, but I'm not holding my breath.

there is quite a lot of coverage at the moment on out news channels. BBC news 24 had a special today, the Bush supporters always ammuse me with their logic (or lack):
They interviewed this Bush fan (a biker) asking why he supports Bush, he said 'because he supports small businesses', when the guy at the bbc pointed out Bush supports Large businesses he said 'so what?'.

Tuesday morning sometime. I'm gussing early. Florida and some other states have already started voting. And they're already running into problems with missing ballots. Should be more entertaining than the superbowl.

no... I was just saying that reading your post it lookd like you were talking about a sports match or a tv show or a movie
but in a funny way, dont take me serious
I am not gonna watch it cos I got things to do, but I will be inerested in knowing the results of course, cos I live in this world, and I want to know who is going to bomb the next country
I have never watched the superbowl... I prefer sports that require intelligence
