by law suicide is illegal. the reason for this is that 'by law' you are not in the right mind of thinking if you think this. if you are really considering this i suggest you go to your GP tomorrow and tell him. depression is very complicated and the causes are unfortunately categorized into one. i hope you will adhere to my advice and understand that you are ill. i have read your posts before but not commented on them. but please go and see your GP as i think you really need to. he will be very helpful (hopefully) and suggest suitable treatment. for your own sake do not be shy. you will look back on this and then realise you are not thinking correctly. but please be patient with yourself and accept help from others. |

It might not matter on the face of it whether any of us lives or dies, but it matters to the people who care about you. Which sounds like even more of a bloody stupid cliche than "things do get better eventually" when you're in a certain state of mind, but it's true. My grandad killed himself, and the effect on the whole family was catastrophic. I won't lie, suicide must be a way out, but it's damaging and horrible to everyone you know. Don't, man. Don't. |

skink, you're very young..don't give up so soon. if things don't change by the time you're 30, then start worrying. i had great time from my 20 to 25...it's all going downwards since then though. im still hoping to change things for better though. |

ive been to the hospital 4 times recently on suicide attempts. my mind perceives truth in such a negative way that living life in this bound, limited, mortal, damned, unevolved organic form seems to hold no meaning. but.. on these new meds, im becomming happy, even tho i still think this hapiness is nothing more than a blindfold to live with simplicity hiding from the absolute truth, in time i may forget these horrid thoughts all together, and live with a smile. give medication a chance. |
