Bill Burroughs I bet it depresses you that, even if I am what you described, I am still a better person than you.
xceque...it's not just people from watmm I am negative towards, so stop turning this into some we feel sorry for watmm's bottoms issue. Facetious.

seems like a pretty good idea to me.
and i'm fine with buying music in digital format with digial album art. it saves a bunch of cd packaging and paper art that's just gonna be scratched to hell and/or lost in 3 years anyways. less trash is good. when i want to look at the art i'll click on the jpg.

Not to take this to a personal level, but what did I ever to do you man? Surely nobody could enjoy being so hateful online and have a clear conscience about it in real life.

I think it's a good idea. The trouble is there is so much music in this "field", so much, SO MUCH, more than even those bratty "punk" bands that do hilarious pop covers, that well, ..in a overcrowded market it makes sense to make the product available cheaper. Plus, a lot of "IDM" isn't worth $12 (or whatever) for a couple of highly generic but maybe a couple good tracks on a CD, but could be worth $3 of anyone's money for a selection of decent digital tracks. I've not made myself clear. I bought Ultravisitor off of Bleep because a). I knew I'd hate it but b). I wanted to hear it.
I think young Ecnadniarb's comments should be taken in the lighthearted manner in which, I am sure, they are intended.

Welcome back dog_belch you presence has been sorely missed over the past however many days.
Joyrex: I was only being a prick, I think it is a good idea what you are doing...and the 40% is more than fair, given the time, hassle, bandwidth etc. plus the low cost of the albums. You won't be making all that much from each sale (unless someone goes on to sell a couple of million and you can retire). It's a fair price, and I wish you every success in your latest venture and may purchase it myself when I get a chance to check out the samples.

I haven't changed attitude. My attitude remained constant, just your interpretation has changed due to the way I conducted myself in my reply.

i didn't mean anything personal by my comments - i'm not sure how they were taken. i asked a pointed question and got a reasonable answer, so i'm satisfied with that.
