Kay. Despite who the lead actress is, I saw this movie
today, and it creeped me the hell out. I'd definately
suggest going and seeing this in the theater. I have been
looking over my shoulder all night long.

No, I saw the movie 12 Hours ago. Its residual creepiness
that I am talking about.

Is the original creepy? I was dissapointed by Ringu
(somehow, the americans managed to make a better remake),
even though I didn't find the ring creepy. The imagery was
nice, but not scary.

well.. I found ringu to be much more sacry than the american
one, but I saw Ringu first and didn't know what was
happening when I saw it.. if you saw The Ring first you'd
know what was happening in ringu, so the scariness was
partly gone.

Ju-On was shown at this film-festival we've got here in
Bergen last year, and it was the scariest film there!

remember: no-one can fuck you up like japanese people!

Yeah... they aren't conditioned to the same formula. I kept
on expecting people to live in grudge.

Everybody dead *pop*

but since you've already seen the grudge, you'll probably
get the same thing... you know what's going on.

..and always watch the films alone...

however, there are a few korean thrillers you should see..
they can fuck you up pretty bad as well even though they
have a tendency to slow down after a while...

I thoroughly recommend "old boy," even though it's not a
regular thriller, nor anything like the two aforementioned
films.. but it was the best film I saw on this years movie
festival!
