For me it has to be Nas...easily the greatest rappers voice
to work with...that whole smokey sort of voice suits my
style perfectly. I think I will do one of those remix album
things.

Did you like the recent blues one? I thought it was fun!

The one with his dad? definitely, I have liked most of his
recent output. The only stuff I didn't really like were the
couple of albums after It Was Written...but I think
stillmatic was the beginning of his return to form.

I actually wouldn't like to work WITH Aphex Twin, Autechre
etc. because there is nothing to work with other than ideas.
I need something like a voice in a collaboration.

I would like to work with Mark Mothersbaugh. Wouldnt mind
working with a seniors choir. Or some sort of very
strange-voiced choir group.

Illmatic is good stuff.

yes, that is exactly what I am saying...I even heard that
Aphex Twin actually sounds like Mariah Carey.

i was actually thinking of working with bono, as in,
partying and going on tour with all of the women and
everything, but not doing anything musically.

Paul McCartney, because John seems a bit intimidating and
unruly. Maybe if Paul and I hit it off, we could make the
best album ever. I don't see why we couldn't.

Arthur Russell - Shame he died 18 years ago. He is the one
producer I feel I can really identify with. His whole
approach to music seems very similar to mine.
