No catch what so ever! You can use it from Linux, OSX or
windows. If you want to route international you pay 0.001c
for a minute! It is amazing.

Yah yah I read their website and it looks good. But I don't
have a mic port on my laptop which sucks anyway... I need to
get a USB mic somewhere.

If you have a mic built into your laptop you will be fine. A
USB mic is only needed for a desktop.
