im sure this movie was mentioned before, but since i can't
look for that thread for some reason i made a new one.
i watched this film today and i really liked it...i love the
films that take place in woods for some reason, and depp and
torturro are both really high on my fav actors list.
has anyone read king's novel? is it as good as the film?

here

i didn't think this was good at all. i'm a fan of depp and
turturro as well, and i don't think it was their fault... i
just think it was a lousy movie. it was boring, predictable
and corny.

yeah, it was definitely predictable, especially after i read
the plot...but it's just one of those movies were it doesn't
really matter..it was just a classic thriller so i imagine
they had to stick with all the stereotypes. it was nicely
filmed, and it's always enjoyable to watch the two...

I enjoyed it. Not a life changer by any means but I love
Johnny Depp and thought it was a good story. Love the
facial hair too.

it was just too predictable, and i didn't care for the
characters.

i thought turturro's character was particularly weak.

well, it was all about johnny...torturro's part was small,
but probably he was the best pick for it..

the book absolutely shits all over the fucking movie. same
with every single stephen king book/movie i've read/seen.

reading the book after you see the movie would kinda suck,
though.
