much MY opinion about the whole thing.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-26 18:18 [#00075099]

Wait a minute... Vincent Gallo, the actor... I could have
sworn I saw a Vincent Gallo on the Warp site... now I'm
confused. (doesn't take much)

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-26 18:22 [#00075101]

Yeah... Vincent Gallo... he's the same one?

titsworth_courier from washington, dc on 2002-01-26 18:55 [#00075104]

(musician). same one on warp. how do you think he GOT on
warp? hmm, famous guy wants to make "techno", we'll sign
him!

i just saw buffalo for the first time today.
i don't really now why i waited so long to see it, because
im a big fan of vincent gallos
its really a fantastic film-gallo is excellent as an actor
(he allways is), but he is a really good director aswell-
not to mention the soundtrack he did for this particular
film.
i can't wait to see his next movie-appearntly he is working
on it.

yeah i loved that film!
it's been ages since i've seen it!
i also highly recommend
Truth and Consequences N.M.
directed byt Keifer Sutherland
starring keifer sutherland and vincent Gallo.
amazing film along the same vein of story telling, but with
guns!

new fave independent directors/actors.... i'm glad to see
others who were into this movie.

Buffalo 66 is a triumphant love story. One of the best
movies I've ever seen.

i guess i jumped the gun on the whole 'techno' thing, i did
finally listen to his music tho and it's ok (and yes it's
guitar based, not electronic like i had assumed). it's not
good enough to be on warp tho.

what's his next movie?

"The Brown Bunny"

it's being called:
"...one of the most profoundly egomaniacal and obnoxious
films in the history of American independent cinema."

Peter Brunette from indieWIRE says:
"During its press screening here in the Cannes
competition, the film was openly laughed at throughout, and
at its conclusion was met with the loudest round of boos
I've heard in my 12 years attending this festival."

Buffalo 66 was amazing. I was looking fwd to brown
bunny, but haha wow it's sounds terrible.

"I’ve had to put it on hold for a while because I’d
gotten so badly injured making it that both my ankles were
broken and my ribs were busted. I’ve been to court seven
times but I’ve only gotten three assault and battery
charges. But over here ist’s three strikes and you’re
out, you have too serve a mandatory jail sentence, and I
don’t want to go to jail."

"Brown Bunny" will probably be on its way to "cult classic"
because of all the hoopla...

"Buffalo 66"? I envision myself in a bathtub with Christina
Ricci...a bathtub full of Cool-Whipâ„¢!!! THE WEEZE HAS
SPOKEN! BREAK OUT THE STRAWBERRIES AND PEACH WEDGES!!!

I loved ze Baron...;)
