def. some of his most mature work yet...there's no fuss
about it...a true branch away from idm and into his own
genre

it's great, although i was way more impressed with it in the
begining...i think my taste in music changed for better
since then :)

i dunno, just something about it...it sounds like normal IDM
but it's not .... just, a wee bit advanced and most
certainly more mature.

i like it allot too, but theres still just alittle bit too
much noisey wanky stuff for my taste, it's was nice to get
that album after having heard him live that same year.

Tundra 4, abacus2 and Venus no.17 both the original and the
acid mix kicks more ass then ultravisitor right now, great
tracks

ehh, mature, i dont know about that, buts is sounds more
classical than his other stuff, but as far as mature, tell
me that steinbolt is a mature track.

definately. tetra-sync. WOW

i dont know, i think its more classical and harsh than
mature, mature to me is more like ambient stuff, like some
stuff on saw2, and vletr. i think you can hear the
"seriousness" in the track for it to be mature, and stein
sounds like sp is just experimenting with his new classical
sound.

im sorry. i was kidding. steibolt is a perfect tune to
listen to in a club and get wild to, but definitely not a
mature one :)

tetra sync is by far the greatest track done by him.

i refer to tetra sync on UV to mt saint michaels on drukQs.

they both seem to be the "ultimate" track.

like, you hear it one time and you know right away this is
going to be "THEE TRACK" on the album.

...same with surrirpiere on draft 7.30

as for drukqs, i'm torn somewhere between vordhosbn and
ziggomaticv17...

lisitening to the recent squarepusher @ liquid room 97 live
mp3 makes me think that the pushers just doing what he's
always been doing..... letting you peak into the world of
out-there drum and bass that contains pure sublime riddims
and melodies.

He makes most other people look like they're just shuffling
around sounds on a limited frame. He's always pushing our
ideas of rhythmn, funk, timing and noise. Ultravisitor seem
to be him trying to get us near to whats he's always known
is available: quality squarepusher

I think it's a total failure. What a complete waste of
time. There's not one track on there that I want to listen
to.

I love everything he's done up until "Do you know
Squarepusher" - with the last 2 releases he's drifted into
lameness.

there are very few moments of UV that i dislike. tetrasync
could be looped for 2432 hours and i'd still love it.

i was never into budakan mindphone... no track really stand
out to me. iambic 5 was ok, but other than that, i'm missing
the point of the release.

... has Warps new "milanese" takin the ideas in that track
and expanded them? Sounds like it to me! - loves it all

Personally I find it less impressive than 'Do you know
Squarepusher". Too many songs sound like imatations of
Anti-pop Consortium and Richard Devine.

i think uv is far away from all other
releases/music/albums... maybe music style is classical and
sounds are tipical sp, but its something totally new. an
incredible study about noise (in his strict sense, not the
music style), abstraction and music/sound structures in
general (beyond styles). simply sublime, but not an easy
listening...

District_line__ II is the bestest sp track i
have heard since way back in '01

somejerk,

"there are very few moments of UV that i dislike.
tetrasync
could be looped for 2432 hours and i'd still love it. "

I still have the 3 20-30second MP3 cuts from UV that were
released before the album.

One of them is tetra sync like 3:10 - 3:40...riught when the
first reall intense and my fav part of the album, kicks in.

i loop it for hours at a time .... it's so fantastic.

when that clip was first released, someone on here said
"that's more music in 30seconds than i've heard all year"

and i couldn't agree more.

It's a good CD to have in the background while doing
something, like it's good when you pay it a minimal amount
of attention.

But then again, it's fantastic on headphones when you listen
to it meticulously noting every drum beat and bass note. I
fell asleep listening to it on a plane and it was the most
refreshing sleep I've ever had.

It's just an all around amazing album. It's a landmark in
the genre, like it or not.
