Try to rate your last dream here as you rate films in the
well-known topic by danbrusca.

Try to give it a title, like the title of a movie, then a
short review of it (this is optional, but it will be better
with a review, i think, the title is not enough).

If you don't remember what was there in your dream plot, you
can just rate the feeling you've had when waking up - was it
nice to wake up at last after some nightmare or stupid
uninteresting dream, or you'd better be late to your job or
school or whatever just to see how is this dream going to
end.

You can supply directors name, if you know it:)

----
EXAMPLE:

Aphex live in my kitchen (title)

Well, this title is 'pretty self-explanatory'. I just wanna
say that i wish I'd sleep for at least one week.

What a fantastic idea for a topic :D

Flying Without Wings

A KLM airliner loses it's wings and crashes in a small
village in the English midlands. To the suprise of everyone
it then shrinks to just 20 feet in length and a heroic but
ultimately futile rescue mission ensues.

i never have "good" dreams, they are always really distant
and creepy, i have trouble remembering them fully, but one
time i had a dream but it seemed like i was seeing really as
on a computer screen, and you know sometimes the windows
will get stuck and will trail all over the screen if you
drag them, well my dream was like that, VERY WEIRD and
creepy.

Last night:

Sea-Doo up north

There is this large 1mile or so breakwall that takes you out
into lake huron from the river. I was on my 96 sea doo xp
(from quiet a few years ago) and was taking a shortcut to
get out to the lake that is usually only 2 feet deep. I got
off and it was deep so i figureed the dredged it. so i go
riding out there, and it's pretty familiar, and somehow end
up like in this dam with turbines spinning ABOVE WATER and
sucking me in on the jet ski.....i always used to have
nightmares (being a boater since i was 1yr old) and having
these nightmares about being sucked into the wake of a large
freighter ship because i got too close.

so now i was being sucked into a turbine in a dam on my sea
doo but i wasn't scared in my dream for some reason and had
a hell of a time riding thru the surf and escaping it...

it was really fuked up because i didnt get scared in the
whole dream at all and freak out, like i normally do.

eh, weird one.

I had one recently in which I was with my girlfriend and she
seemed strange. So I had a close look at her and it was as
if I could zoom in between the atoms that made up her skin.
It basically looked (although 'felt' is probably a better
word as my dreams aren't all that visual) as if she were
made up of microscopic ribbons somewhat like that Escher
engraving of the two lovers with busts that look like apple
peels. Anyway on closer inspection these ribbons were in
fact lines of computer code (not binary, probably c++). This
close inspection resulted in me falling into this mass of
code. Then the dream went all emotional (as opposed to
visual) and I found myself stuck in some kind of infinite
recursion. It felt very confusing and clastrophobic and not
at all fun to say the least.

Then I woke up and everything I looked at looked as if I was
obsvering it from a tremendous height. I would look at a
book and it felt like the edges of the book were kilometers
long. This feeling stayed with me for most of the morning.

Yes I've been working too hard!

erm 3/5

Sport is Harmful

It's a dream about some stupid reception or party where
organizators have invited a gymnastics girl to perform a
jump (wtf) so she did, and when landed, had something broken
in her bones; she fell down and cried in pain, while people
were embarassed, having any ideas on what is therer to do.
Somebody tried to help her lay in a pose, which could ease
the pain, but only caused a bigger pain with this.

Oddioblender + Internet Horror

Rating: three ampersands on the ampersand scale.

"oddioblender and i were hanging out as usual after school
talking about our homework and a new snuff book he bought on
the internet and the site had animated gifs of bloody horror
we used to scare my mom. then mom said she was going out
and was getting food for us from phil's? what was the fancy
expensive resturant called? something with a p.
oddioblender was happy but at the same time concerned about
the expensive meal." *

* i've never met oddioblender in person, i don't go to
school, i don't live with my mother and i don't know of any
fancy resturant called phil's. this was kind of a weird
one.

Container

I am on this ship with many other people -- all of whom are
going to China -- as far a I know, we are all American and
we have all brought Drugs with us. We do not have or share
rooms, but sleep in beds lined-up in a huge hall, this being
where we keep our possessions. After a time I return to my
bed and, looking at things, notice that some of them are not
mine. I seem to have inherited a candy bracelet, and the
drugs I brought have disappeared. I go through my pockets. I
find a bag I have never seen before. Opening it makes it
bigger than it was when I found it -- inside is a book about
morphisms, Don Giovanni in full score, and about 10-15 other
books.

Just Places

At first I am wandering around a cemetery barefoot. The
little paths are sparsely paved with something shiny and
lightgray; I decide to find a good old tree to sit under and
remember the dreams I have had so far; but am distracted
from doing this when I pass under some strange bridges to an
apartment complex. The ground is muddy, and there are many
dead squirrels in this mud. I take it there has been a flood
lately.

I keep walking down the pathways of this apartment complex;
I see that there is a computer lab for people who live here
to use; the architecture looks much like my own but with
less angles and more arches, curves, etc. Inside a room full
of cubicles a woman gets up from typing and leads her boy
down the hall, in her hands a letter to be sent to scotland,
written in scottish, the fancy letterhead colored red.

Several hours of dreams later I am in a park with much of my
family. My cousin Emily and I sit on the grass and eat ice
cream. Using a pencil made of chocolate I draw lines in my
ice cream, then fill in the lines with the other flavors on
my plate. I remark upon the clouds, which are this surreal
shade of blue and have arrayed themselves nicely. I look at
the setting sun and see that it is lined-up on the exact
same path in the sky as the rising moon. Soon they may
efface one another. I remark to Emily about the beauty of
this and lament my lack of a camera; she says that, if I run
to the stage where the band is playing, I can get hers.

I climb over some playground equipment, then under some
monkey bars, where little girl kicks me in the nuts
accidentally. She offers to climb on the ground so that I
can get on the monkeybars and kick her in the nuts, but I
refuse. I run extremely quickly past my dying grandmother
who talks to four of her friends; I run so quickly that I
almost step on a baby playing under a large willow tree; I
am running so fast that I miss the stage and end up at the
entrance to the apartments from the dreams much earlier.

I was in a house with a bunch of people and Andy from
Eastenders is there and he points to these two women lying
on a bed and says he wants them dead within the hour and
leaves.

Einstein appears and gives them each an injection which he
says will make it appear as if they're dead for an hour, but
then they'll recover. He then runs out into the garden and
hides in the hedge behind the shed. At this point I realise
this house is now a house I used to live in when I was
younger.

Andy from Eastenders is late coming back and one of the
women on the bed starts to revive. In a bit of a panic I
tell her to lie there and pretend she's dead, which
obviously isn't going to work, but hey.

So then I'm upstairs with some unknown guy and we're looking
out the window. I become aware that the bed with the two
women on it is now in the back garden. A cargo plane flies
low over the house and in some bizarre act of reasoning I
conclude that Andy from Eastenders has flown over the house
to see if the women were dead...

...and then he pulls up outside in a Cadillac. He comes into
the house and runs upstairs shouting. We find ourselves in a
bedroom with my mom sitting on the bed and I have a gun. I
shoot Andy from Eastenders in the head and he falls down,
but not dead, so I give the gun to mom and tell her to shoot
him, so she shoots him in the neck and he dies.

search

two men from militia came to the flat I rent and started to
do a search - they payed a lot of attention to files on
computer, and when they saw a few old 3 inch diskettes in my
bag, they thoroughly examinated them, copying some files
from them. They had a search warrant, I asked them to show
it. They behaved friendly, but indulgently. I was afraid of
them seeing some anarchist stickers here and there, and A1
sized posters on walls, but they seemed not noticing them.
After some time they went to the kitchen, where sat behind
the table and started to do nothing, talking kindly but
indulgently, and I tried to ask them to leave, which
resulted in theatrical grief on their faces. I left back to
computer for some reason and when returned to the kitchen, I
saw them mounting a small microphone under the sink. One of
men was kneeled on the floor and mounting it, another sat at
the table with a soldering iron surrounded by small pieces
of tin.
They were disappointed by me seeing this hard work.

About 11 months ago, I had a dream where there were 3 women

I work with were all pregnant (in the dream). Well I goto
work the next day and I joking tell everyone I had a dream
where (lets call them 1,2,+3) were pregnant... well a few
people said that they just found out that 1 had been
pregnant for two weeks (i had no idea she was). So I was
like, wierd...

Then at this time 3 turns and says, 'well I doubt it means
anything, I allready have 3girls and I dont want another
kid'. Okay, so about 7 months go by, and number 2 gets
pregnant (who has never had any kids btw). So I'm like "oh
snap"....
Well about two days ago, number 3 comes up and says " I want

to thank you for that dream you had" Immediately I freaked
out and said something along the lines of 'get the fuck
outta here', but she was serious... I was really creeped
out. All of them pregnant within 11 months.

8/10

actually this dream would have been total shit if it hadn't
come true...

Boredom: The Return IV

I am at a building site. The council have knocked down a
friend from highschool's house, and are building a shell
garage there. There is a kind of e-mail-checking cash
machine on the wall of the half-built garage, and when i use
it there is a message telling me a large number of horrible
things about myself.

Suddenly i realize i work here, and all the car registration
plates on the nearby road change to "P333HLC". This meant
something, but i can't remember what it was. I run into the
garage thing, which is now my old friend's house. She's
inside wrapped in a zipped-up sleeping bag, crying, and she
won't come out.

I look out of the window and see a plane crashing on the
horizon, and the girl in the sleeping bag says to me: "you
got a parcel today..."

Then i woke up.

...

Uneasy, with a hint of foreboding. 2/5.

I had a very elaborate dream last night that basically
revolved around many teenagers trying to kill me as I ran
around the neighbourhood trying to survive. Oddly enough,
though I had every opportunity to get away, I kept coming
back to the same street like a nitwit. Eventually my cousin
came by with an armored van and we shot them all up. That's
the gist of it, though this was one of those dreams that
seemed to cram a week's worth of information into a few
hours.

Listen to this:

My and a group of aliens were travelling in our ship (we had
a sort of democratic captainship), ad received a distress
signal. We slowed down and one of us (this 10-foot tall
mother fucker) took our better remote vehicle to check it
out, and came back with the sender of the distress signal,
who was a girl though that is unimportant as the following
times were just platonic friendship shit. Anyway then all
of us trounced around the ship for the rest of the dream,
and kept wandering through different figments of memory..

Here's the kicker: then in real life someone called, and
upon falling back asleep I was at the beginning of the
dream..

except the big dude took me with him, and I got to see the
inside of the ship and find the girl! Man it was weird in
their; after the main airlock there was an environment with
simulated rain falling around the main building as some
futuristic decoration.. it was awesome. when we got back to
the ship events continued where the other one left off, so
there was no re-run material!

the other stuff was awesome for me but really internally
referential so most likely boring.
