girls with pink
hair who want to make Very Long Videos of themselves
masturbating over a copy of the bible.

i like that kind of art, : )

if you take your time in your art, and you really reach down
into yourself for something and present it in your art, who
is to say if this can even be judged on a "good" or "bad"
scale. it obviously has meaning for you, since you created
it. now when others see it, they have the eyes of a critic,
but the negative responces should not bother the artist, he
knows what the art really is / its meaning. The critic only
judges with his senses, he has no other way to gauge the
"value" of the art.

hobbes: i wish it were me, though if you picture a less
photogenic wasted miscreant it's not far off.

ds9mm: 10 out of 10 for saying Scumbag College

MrGypsum: you are right, of course. Part of my work was to
devise a scale by which art could be valued. When I realised
mine came off pretty poorly I hung up my smock and called it
a day.

Do you use the same criteria for all art or just paintings?
What about literature, movies, music and cooking?

Well this clearly proves that art such as this is a complete
farce and that simply if you're skilled in convincing the
art crowd by providing some vague pseudo-intellectual tale
about the supposedly complex composition or expression of
the painting it suddenly turns into a masterpiece worth $5
million. The connoisseurs are being had by skilless artists.
So I agree, all art like that, whether it be by the hand of
a 4-year-old or by the hand of some kind of renowned artist,
is worthless junk, or child's play like the kid shows.

art, like most things, exists only so that we will have
something to talk about...

otherwise reality is just one long awkward silence...

with me. :)

i'll serenade him with a song!

*getting to know you, getting to know all about you...*

c'mon, we both like cats! we both like music! we both like
girls! or pictures of them!

sure, sometimes i come across as opinionated and pedantic!
i'm only motivated by a sincere desire to be helpful. and i
don't have a snazzy hook to endear myself to people like
your double rr! but i have an inflatable bunny head!
that's got to count for something...

may i please be removed from your shitlist, mr. presley?

i can't imagine, i'm pretty friendly and nice, or at least
neutral. i'm just not a "horrendous doing" sort of
person...

obviously i rub some people the wrong way, fine, but i'd
just as soon live and let live...
