Geogaddi has grown on me recently. I am really feeling a
lot of it at the moment. The only problem is that there
will always feel as though a lot of it is filler

I've come to the conclusion I don't really like Boards of
Canada.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've been listening to boc quite
a bit over the past few days..

gig: it seems to me that boc really needs to be
listened to in its own context--go through a whole album,
don't let your playlist hit it on random.

I usually dislike them, but lately it's very nice. I've
been doing lots of stuff while it plays and rather exhausted
in general; make your own connections.

Taht could be my problem. I always have things on random. I
shall endeavour to listen to a while album in the order they
set. If I don't like them then well I'll take the CDs and
give them to a tramp.

autechre's a lot like that too. Note that I've never really
seriously listened to boc in the 1.5 years I've had their
shit on my hard drive with the exception of the past few
days. If my suggestion sucks, I'm sorry!!! =((((((((

heh

I got into autechre nearly a year ago and listened to them a
ridiculous amount for something absurd like 5 months. Since
then I have listened to them almost not at all, except for a
few early tracks.. most odd

I worry about the kids of today listening to everything
randomly. Listen to the fucking album properly dammit!

For about a month my playlist contains about 110hrs music,
and I jump around in it usually after 4 tracks, rarely more
and often less.

I listen to it in order the first time then I rip it and
listen on random in winamp. Less so now I've got an iPod. I
have that playing albums properly.

I said "pease" twice in the same short sentence, just after
bemoaning Elusive's grammar. Why don't I just punch myself
in the cock?

Yeah you mentioned it the other day.. I think I like the two
after it more. I haven't really determined I like the
beginning of the disc more than the end, but definitely I'm
struck with the 'this is good shit' feeling more at the
beginning.

I should get back to work soon, my brain level is dwindling
way below negative trickle..

the way i percieve boc

-geogaddi - the closest album to them (it's really warm)
- mhtrtc - cold and moody
- hi scores - kinda lost...searching for smtn
- iabpoitc - the best gateway to childhood melancholy
- box maxima - their sickest side
- twoism - dunno...u tell me?

some parts of geogaddi are pure evil with a deceptively
sweet taste

interesting to hear elements of geogaddi appear on this
latest leak.

Boards are not a "singles" band, they're an "album" band.

Listen to their stuff in the correct order for fuck's sake.
Not between Korn and Alien Ant Farm on your Winamp
randomizer.

I listen to new albums all the way through the first time
and after that unless it's spectacular it goes in the random
playlist. Fuck this context shit, if boc sound shite
following another band well that should tell you something.
Geogaddi is a piece of shit.

I have most AE's and BOC's catalog on my hard drive,
including the BOC unreleased tracks. Random is the only way
to listen. Variety you know?
