stop trying to go to sleep

get real stoned, watch loads of tv, no music and try to stay
awake

I recomend watching the LOTR trilogy back to back

why have you gotten only 40 mins of sleep if you got work in
less than an hour? sleep deprivation can cause major mental
disorders, affecting perception and coordination. lack of
sleep causes you also to age quicker therefore cutting life
expectancy. a person should get about 7 to 8 hours of sleep
daily. i hope you get that worked out dude seriously!

A slow day at work/lessons/lectures are so much worse than a
busy day when you are tired. My sleeping has got really
fucked up lately too. If I get to sleep I'll be tired the
next day unless I get at least 10hrs, but fairly often I'll
get to 7am and just be lying in bed, bored out of my mind.

Insomnia is pretty much the worst thing. 48 hours awake,
unaided... urgh.

Also: i recommend you call in sick.

thanks for the advice everyone. i managed to sneak in a hour
or so worth of naps... i feel... tried still nonetheless.
Days like this are rare, but happen. so i fear i may be
getting myself into a bad cycle.. last fall was my worst
semester so far. i hope this one will not repeat it. i
actaully fell down some stairs back then , twice due to lack
of sleep. i'll try to take it easy tonight. maybe i'll take
in a flick.

btww, all this summer i worked the walnuts, which meant, my
wake up call was at 4:20am monday thru saturday... i was
fine then because the work was dead hard...
